Trên những chiếc bảng quen thuộc, bằng những nét vẽ sinh động, màu sắc hài hòa và cách thể hiện độc đáo, các bạn học sinh đã gửi gắm tình cảm, sự trân trọng và lòng biết ơn tới bà, mẹ, cô giáo cùng những người phụ nữ luôn yêu thương, đồng hành và truyền cảm hứng trong cuộc sống. Mỗi sản phẩm là một lời chúc mừng được thể hiện bằng ngôn ngữ hội họa, mang dấu ấn riêng của từng tập thể lớp.

Điểm nhấn của hoạt động là việc kết hợp tiếng Việt và tiếng Anh trong các thông điệp chúc mừng. Những lời chúc như “Happy Vietnamese Women’s Day – Chúc mừng Ngày Phụ nữ Việt Nam”, “Thank you for your love and care – Cảm ơn vì tình yêu thương và sự quan tâm” hay “Women inspire the world – Phụ nữ truyền cảm hứng cho thế giới” được lồng ghép sáng tạo trên bảng, góp phần làm cho các sản phẩm thêm sinh động, hiện đại và giàu ý nghĩa.

Không chỉ dừng lại ở một hoạt động chào mừng ngày lễ, đây còn là dịp để học sinh vận dụng kiến thức tiếng Anh vào thực tiễn, rèn luyện vốn từ vựng, khả năng diễn đạt và sự tự tin khi sử dụng ngoại ngữ. Qua đó, hoạt động góp phần hiện thực hóa định hướng tăng cường sử dụng tiếng Anh trong nhà trường, từng bước đưa tiếng Anh trở thành ngôn ngữ thứ hai trong môi trường học đường thông qua những hình thức gần gũi, thiết thực và phù hợp với học sinh.

Quá trình lên ý tưởng, lựa chọn thông điệp, thiết kế bố cục và cùng nhau hoàn thiện sản phẩm cũng giúp các em phát triển năng lực thẩm mỹ, khả năng hợp tác, tư duy sáng tạo và tinh thần trách nhiệm với tập thể. Mỗi nét vẽ không chỉ làm đẹp thêm không gian lớp học mà còn góp phần xây dựng môi trường giáo dục thân thiện, tích cực, nơi học sinh được thể hiện bản thân và học hỏi từ những trải nghiệm thực tế.

Thông qua hoạt động ý nghĩa này, Đoàn Thanh niên Trường THPT Bạch Đằng tiếp tục khẳng định vai trò trong việc tổ chức các phong trào thiết thực, gắn giáo dục truyền thống, bồi dưỡng tình cảm và kỹ năng sống với đổi mới phương pháp học tập, tăng cường ứng dụng ngoại ngữ trong đời sống học đường.

Mỗi nét phấn là một lời tri ân, mỗi thông điệp là một nhịp cầu kết nối. Chúc các bà, các mẹ, các cô giáo và tất cả những người phụ nữ luôn mạnh khỏe, hạnh phúc, rạng rỡ và tiếp tục lan tỏa những giá trị tốt đẹp đến cộng đồng!

BACH DANG HIGH SCHOOL: SPREADING LOVE AND PROMOTING ENGLISH LANGUAGE USE THROUGH CLASSROOM DECORATION ACTIVITIES CELEBRATING VIETNAMESE WOMEN’S DAY (OCTOBER 20)

In the joyful atmosphere of celebrating Vietnamese Women’s Day on October 20, the Youth Union of Bach Dang High School launched a classroom decoration activity to mark this special occasion, receiving enthusiastic participation from student Youth Union branches. The activity was not only a meaningful gesture of appreciation for the women students hold dear but also an opportunity for them to unleash their creativity, develop their artistic talents, and strengthen their teamwork skills.

Using their familiar classroom blackboards as canvases, students created vibrant and eye-catching designs with harmonious colors, lively illustrations, and unique artistic expressions. Through their artwork, they conveyed their love, respect, and gratitude to their grandmothers, mothers, teachers, and all the women who love, support, accompany, and inspire them throughout their lives. Each creation was a heartfelt greeting expressed through art, reflecting the distinctive identity and creativity of each class.

A highlight of the activity was the creative integration of Vietnamese and English in the congratulatory messages. Greetings such as “Happy Vietnamese Women’s Day,” “Thank you for your love and care,” and “Women inspire the world,” accompanied by their Vietnamese translations, were creatively incorporated into the blackboard designs. This bilingual approach made the artwork more vibrant, modern, and meaningful.

Beyond celebrating a special occasion, the activity provided students with an opportunity to apply their English knowledge in real-life contexts, expand their vocabulary, improve their communication skills, and build confidence in using a foreign language. It also contributed to the school’s goal of promoting English language use in education, gradually working towards making English a second language in the school environment through engaging, practical, and student-friendly activities.

The process of brainstorming ideas, selecting messages, arranging layouts, and working together to complete their designs also helped students develop their aesthetic appreciation, collaboration skills, creative thinking, and sense of responsibility towards their class community. Every brushstroke not only beautified the classroom but also contributed to creating a friendly and positive learning environment where students could express themselves and learn through practical experiences.

Through this meaningful activity, the Youth Union of Bach Dang High School continues to affirm its role in organizing practical and engaging movements that combine traditional values, emotional development, and life skills education with innovative learning approaches and the increased use of foreign languages in school life.
